The 1200 LCC is basically exactly what I am doing to the 900--I dunno about modifying the 1200 as it looks pretty well figured out already--perhaps Antec will add my Cable Mod to their cases next....

I have not wanted to shut down the rig just now. I am using the heck out of it right now. I know I need to takee it all apart again some more but for the next little while I have to keep my mitts of it and finish up some other work.
When I do shut it down I will first try replacing the DB-1 with a MCP 655--that is the easiest fix. For the next three cases I will build next week I will use a different rad with lower restriction, a FuZion for lower restriction and NO ELBOWS. Which will make the loop somewhat more...erm...loopy. I figger that by doing that I will be able to use the DB-1 and get much better temps thatn with the prototype. I will test them of course and Load up th CPU FOlding to see what kind of thermall capability the revision yields. I am expecting positive results--having gambled about a thousand on that hunch what with all the rads etc...But I can always fall back on the ThermoChill PA 160 mounted on top like Velocitor. That system is unbelievably efficient--I always ran the 200mm on low and had an insane oveervolt/overclock on an X2 4800+ that I know was making heat. Load temps stayed right around 54C with an ambient of 27C. If the revised loops can give me that I will have accomplished my goal.

I have a feeling the MCP 655 may allow me to maintain my aesthetic at the expense of my maximum flow. I would like to keep the loop as simple as possible--most WC systems are crazy with big sweeps and lots of tubing--I was going for something a little different. TBH it is not performing well enough--hence my upgrades and revision to the next generation.

I was wondering if anyone would notice that--that fits either the Xclio or the Thermaltake--it is also why I made the oval hole so long beside the PSU--to accomodate either a short bodied Modular or a long bodied non Modular.
Without that hole and feet you would have to flip the modular PSU over--which puts the cables up against the side panel. I expect Antec is reading this thread and will soon implement the mod in their 1200
