alright i got a couple questions. did you paint the case and pump silver? and (excuse me if this is a stupid question- i've yet to start watercooling) for the water block - does it have 1 input and 2 outputs or the other way around - or seems that with 2 outs the liquid would move faster past the block but with 2 ins there would be more "pressure" in the block - which is better?

Wink Case Wiring Harnesses and other fun stuff.

MOdifing the CM CoolDrive3 HDD HeatSink with silicon grommets, shortened lead and sheathing.

Case Wiring--Silverstone Fan controller module

Modified Inverter assembly for EL lit SATA cable--shortened lead, rmoved case, removed molex.

Made a custom right angle connection for powering the SIlverstone module with molex pins and heatshrink.

EL inverter is protected in heatshrink--in this mockup on a stock case all components are temporarily mounted with tape. Then EL inverter pass through moled powers the fan controller.

Custom Harness for the CCL light switch--de-molexed and sheathed. THe spade connectors are for the Rockedr switch on the rear panel.

Silverstone rotary pots in custom harness.

Demolexed custom leads made from male/female molex pins covered in heatshrink.

Nearly finalized case wiring. All wiring is centralized to the indent on the optical bay.

Three fan controls-front rear and HDD HS--and a rocker switch for the CCL ligting.

THe Waterblock is made by fstfrddy and it is his Stinger V8--it is a sweet piece of work--one inlet two outlets.

In general waterblocks have their high pressure at the inlet due to the confined space and interior shape of the block or other means of creating microturbulence such as impingement jets. The outlet design of this block is as low a pressure as you might hope to acheive.

I need that dye!!!

That blue is so awesome. I have been looking for a blue that shines that bright. Oh and of course your rig looks beautiful as well. Excellent job bro.

What cathodes were you using. Would it be too much to ask to see it under a standard black light? That is what I usually use.

I bought a black light 110VAC ccl light that I have yet to use...

The CCLs are VasTech--I have about a hundred of them lol.

I bought the AC Rayn OverBoost--what a disappointment--very expensive and one of the tubes was not even soldered to the lead... I compared the el cheapo VasTech to the AC Ryan and the VasTech won out. Live and Learn,

THe Coolant is a mix of two SteelBlue non UV ad Clear non UV Primo PC Ice with about a 1/2 bottle of D-Tek Clear UV dye--I have never seen dye this strong.

And it did not mess up the coolant like the Alphacool clear UV dye does.

Been up since about noon yesterday--gotta flop.
