Looking good Cyber!
So are you going to make the side panel swing open or something? I would assume you would need to keep it attached somehow seeing as the Rad. is hanging off of it ![]() Also, I was going to suggest some of the Evercool fans for case fans (if plan on adding any), I got some of these and they are really great fans, I have two on my second computer that have been going strong for over a year and $10 for a fan with filter isn't bad; 80CFM @ ~25DBA too btw Evercool Spider Fan

I am getting those fans to try out.
I like the web grill...but TBH I like the set up I have best. Going to work out the service details of the rad/loop/filters/in a bit. Probably going to use 6-32 all thread rod and loctite on the Rad and then use acorn nuts for the filters--just thumb them off and and pull the rad loose after opening the door.

Is the pressure guage just there for looks, or does it have some sort of other purpose?

There are some on McMaster that are better suited--0-15PSI is prolly the right range...even though the MCP 655 is rated at 50 PSI I somehow doubt you wold ever see that in a loop..not enough restriction (gotta hope!) But I was holding off on ordering it until I check this one out to see how it works. It uses a plastic a capillary tube from a T fitting--so it can be remotely mounted... I would like to mod an RPM and Temp gauge and mount a cluster... if I use the top bay for a fan controller there would plenty of room. Did not see a temp gauge in the autoparts that is the right type...I am looking for one that has a thermoelectric input ...that way I could mabe lower the resistance andmake it more responsive (i,e, lower the range). It seems like the tach would be easy to fool into activity...the HDD being an obvious source of input...but maybe the Pump motor RPM sensor off the DB-1 could be made to trigger it..not sure. IT would cool to have a triad of auto gauges in the little tra up top...

The paint was still smelling stronglast night--it takes a few days for the finish to settle down.. I need to inspect it and see if I should go further or just accept it and put it together...

Paint is still not quite right. I sanded down the face frame again and dammit if I did not mislay the can of red...lol..
I also sanded down and repainted the chassis again in Bumper Black. Tomorrow I hope to get the final coat of red on the Face Frame...no rushing this paint though... Ordered a more suitable panel mount presure gauge from MCMaster-Carr (0-15 psi) So in the next day or so I may be able to get the loop sorted. Not sure if i want to use a reservoir this time or not...It would be great to make the loop completely removable...which I might be able to do with a bay res...still thinking about it.
