Completed picture
![]() ![]() ![]() This is gonna be my entry to a comp, objective is to make a SFF (small form factor) case, within specific size requirements and able to accommodate all the usual components. Its about the design of the case and not practicality of it so temps etc dont come into the equation...Here we go then: First heres 16m of tubing ![]() There will be 10 rows of tubing stacked on top of each other all connected via 2 x 10 port manifolds, you get the idea from the pic: ![]() Rear of case, made from acrylic (if budget permits, alternatively its gonna be aluminium or steel as I can get it for free). 1 x Hard Drive and 1 x DVD Drive underneath the mobo. PSU to the side of the mobo ![]() Tubing will coil into a spiral at the top (may change) ![]() I will be making 2 x 10 Port Manifolds to put at rear of case, where the holes are in the backplate, water will be able to flow through all the tubes: ![]() ------------------------------------------------------------------ UPDATE #1 This is the layout for the components, notice my cardboard cut-out DVD writer under the mobo tray, also underneath is a 3.5" Hard drive with some stand-offs in to keep everything level ![]() A quick mock up of tubing coils (im not using this tubing, its just that I dont wanna start cutting the other tubing till my manifolds are complete). ![]() ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update 2 Well I just got some pics off the Manifolds from Rob (WCUK) and wooo they looks sweet :-) So a massive thankyou to Rob and his friend with the milling machine for doing these for me. Heres the pics: ![]() ![]() ![]() Comments & Suggestions welcome! I Will edit accordingly as I progress thru it, next update shud be the weekend I think.

UPDATE:
The aluminium pieces have now been cut-out... measuring out the backplate was a right PITA. Its a nice fit though so it was worth the effort I suppose. The lid has now got a rectangle cut-out in to acommodate the LCD. I had a piece of scratched acrylic that I found at work months ago so ive cut that into a mobo tray (just needs drilling now) THE PICTURES ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() PS: I know I need to cut the acrylic under the PSU. Hoepfully gonna drill it all today and paint it 2moz.

Thanks for the positive comments, I wasnt sure what sort of reaction it would get on here. The comp isnt about building a working computer, hence the PSU with no wires. Its 100% about design and features of the case.
Ive not decided on a colour scheme yet, remember the tubings clear so I can dye the water. Any suggestions for colours? thanks for rep

So this will be a functional system?
....I am a little confused by the comment you made about the "wireless" PSU...

Theres a reason for me choosing to do it this way, but thats a suprise for the end. Quote:
Like I said, the comp is about design so to help me ive used some old components to make sure I get the right dimensions. I cut the wires off the PSU to make it easier to work with as the wires pissed me off, get me? I will be firing up the pump at the end though though, to get all the water running.
