Thanks for looking.
![]() I really had a heck of a time with this project. The finished case was much larger and cumbersome than I had originally anticipated. I needed to do a partial re-build of the case on the table that it sits upon. Essentially the table top is its home until the case is replaced. In the end I am satisfied with the outcome. There are some flaws (both design and construction) that I would like to have avoided, but that is the nature of Murphy and his meddling law. I have been using this case for about a week now, and I think that I have found a design that I would like to stick with, but a second build would be in order…. The design of this project was to have a dual loop liquid cooling system that was combined with a separation of thermal zones for enhanced cooling capabilities. An oversight on my part allowed the cooling of the motherboard module to be less than ideal. Never the less, the cross-blower that serves as the modules exhaust does a satisfactory job. The elimination of the rear intake fans for the HDD modules was not intentional – again a mistake. I wanted to mount these fans with the anchors at the compass points. Doing so caused the intake fans to make contact with the HDD panels… the rear doors wouldn’t close. I could have mounted them on the outside, but I wanted clean rear panels. There are some construction errors as well. The holes for the fan controllers, HTPC controller and the optical drive are too large. This is due to the radius of the inside corner that is limited to the diameter of the blade that cut it. This could be avoided by using a jig-saw… next time…next time. Additionally some of the seams do not meet up cleanly. This is due to the weight and its distribution. Grrrr…… The backside is somewhat hackneyed... before I completed this project I knew that I was going to be re-doing it - I got lazy.Anyway, enough of my grumbling…. In truth I am pleased. I hope that you enjoy these pictures. Front ![]() Back HDD Chambers ![]() Motherboard Module Light Shots ![]() Dark Shots ![]() Syr ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I can't wait either...mostly because I want to try Vista and I would like a screamin' system for Crysis.... .... Thanks. Yes, I finished that damn Cube. It has some rather antiquated hardware in it at the moment that is running Xandros. It is for Folding only... and as a back-back-back up 'puter. When Gemini is done I think that the hardware in my sig will go into it so that I can start LANing.

Hahahahahahaha!!!! *whew* Hahahahahaha!!! (no offense - I'm laughing at myself).
*sides ache* No Other than the Damn Cube none of the previous cases were designed for mobility. I can pick them up and carry them around, but I only do it once a week when I put them on my work table to clean them.

YAY!!
I knew you'd move on to something fresh after that damn cube! (not that you won't do Cube2, cause I'm sure you will ... but like me, you probably need to clear your mind of things first via some other creative outburst; the proverbial washing of the hands is oft times best accomplished through a project completely different from the last ... as with case building, so with all other artistic endeavors) WHOOOO! Looking forward to it, mang!
