I've got a P182 with the silver interior. How did you paint it black? I've been searching for a P182 that has a powdered black interior but they are too expensive. I am totally new to this.

Basically I just cleaned out the case, did a little bit of light, light sanding (800+ grit), cleaned it again, and used semi-gloss black paint. I did a total of 3 coats, and sanded lightly after each coat to reduce any bubbling or drips from overspray.
Just take your time and it will turn out great.
