Just curious as to how the B3arClaw Mod did not win this by a landslide. The case is truly an amazing piece of art. When I think of the term "mod" it makes me think that a person took a stock case that anyone can purchase and create what he did. The winner didn't mod a case, he created from scratch.

Kudos to B3ar, an un-freakin-believable creation!

There was a number of worthy entrants in this competition, to be sure. Kudos to all of them!

I wasn't around for this competition, but I can still read the judging criteria.

Judging should be based on the task:

"Build the most eye-catching/inventive/innovative mod ever produced"
To answer your question as to how one particular entrant didn't win by a landslide according to your interpretation of a "mod"; it appears it was the decision of a community vote given the parameters outlined in the quote above.

This year's competition
is underway as I post this. If you feel strongly enough, you could voice your opinions on the matter over there. I don't believe there has been any restrictions placed on scratch built cases this year either.

I fear there is a chance you may be destined for similar frustrations in the future.

Hello.

Is it possible to update this list with the latest winners of the Case Modding Competition?

It would be nice to have a chronicle of all the Modding geniuses that this Forum has.
