Default Garbage Compaqter Resurection
Well the title says it all. I was taking out the gabage today and I came across a small Comaq p3 sitting by the garbage bin. I took it in pulled the cover off and had a look, it was all there so I pluged it in. It worked! So I decided I was going to mod it just for fun. I filled the ram slots full of ram and checked out the HD it was a forty Gigger . Then I ripped it all apart, got out the jig saw, drill and dremel and went to town.

Parts got cleaned primered and a basecoat of paint after I cut out a place for the grill and glued the grill in. A fan will go behind it. I also wanted to put in a top fan for exhaust since this case was severely lacking in airflow. Space was limited so I decided to cut a square hole in the top for the fan.

Chozart^ There is actually 3 slots on a card that plug into that 1 slot.

I have know idea what I am gonna use it for but the thing was dang quiet so maybe a media center or some thing.

Media center is what I was thinking. Find a nice soundcard (likely has to be low profile). An Audigy SE would be a nice fit with this thing:

I know I am double posting but photo bucket is giving me some hassle.Bear with me please.

this is the top panel after I filed and sanded the fan hole. I glued in the grill and ran out of black for a base coat so I finished it off with some metallic burgundy.
