Default Case Mod #1

Well, here goes. This is my first case mod and it is a warm-up for my big project... but more on that later.

This is an old Antec case I had in the basement so I though I'd try to breath some life into it.

As you can see it was designed on the Death-by-Beige principal.

Here are the case parts after priming and I am ready to start laying down some color.

The Rebel Insignia and crescent bracket I cut out of 16ga. Not sure that I am going to use the bracket at this time. I intend to mount these parts over the window plex and they are to be backlit by an led fan. I am just not sure that I like the end result at the moment. Likely the bracket is going into the recycle bucket.

I am actually thinking I need to go with a bigger insignia cutout. Large enough to span the window. Then cut a pattern into the insignia for airflow, so I can mount the LED fan to it.
I can then mount the smaller one to the front of the case.
