A more expensive version of thesame basic thing would be entirely a frame work with no panels at all..and then attaching them via well nuts would be the way to go. I am planning to do soemthing like that with Monolth to make one whole side removable...I got some nylon push pins like those usede to secure trim in an automobile to try out. I was really trying to use as little material as possible...

I was thinking about makins a plexi lid for the mobo. this would facilitate mounting fans to cool the chipset...always an issue. I might do that tomorroow...

My favorite part is that the motherboard tray has a large square cut out over the CPU area so you can keep the motherboard on the tray when uninstalling / reinstalling a heatsink with a backplate.
Great idea, sometimes it takes a few tries to get the AS5 right. But it's missing a soda dispenser and built in mousepad! I set up a tech station too today lol. It's a 10 year old CRT + 4 year old keyboard + my old mx518 + my warped Steelpad 4d all in the corner of my room on the floor. It's not nearly as good though!

Hey but you did it and that's what counts.
That hole is for mounting a phase back plate too...or for a pelt...

I dunno man...sometimes I can't seem to get anything going and other times I can't stop... This was really stimulated by need--I want to test the Monolith and I do not want to take my Folding rig or Work rig apart to do it. Of course this makes a great excuse to get yet another tasty motherboard and Quad core to punish

CD... swarf? I love technical terms for metal shavings and the such. Should call it the swarf cube. I do love it though, nice, simple, makes its purpose know!

that's really cool to have easy acess to the pc.
But i had an ideia, if the customer wanted to, you could add like a wireframe on the top of the mobo, to avoid damages to the hardware, in case of someone going in to it acidentally(or with a rage attack )I made a design in paint so you could see it better(sorry for quality )

Thanks for the pic man!
The shape I have in mind would look like a truncated pyramid with a fan where the point would be and some vents on the sides..
