Awwww that's awfully sweet of you marcus.

(Be careful around Marcus kids, people are only nice to you for one reason)

I think it's an interesting concept, but I think it needs a big ol'e fan.

Some people seem to think Sketchup is difficult, its really not.
Ok yeh its tricky to do perfect modeling but most PCs are just 80% boxes / rectangles. Took me 15 mins maximum to do that.

If it helps him out then its a bonus!! I dont mind doing stuff like that for people as it helps me learn new things in the program, which then make it easier for me further down the line. :-)

thanks a bunch for the input. and marcus, that sketch is great. anyway i can download that program, or something similar to work off of. that would be awesome. i can sketch it but it looks better in a program like that.
repped for the drawing btw

How high are you planning on making the main box?

In the pictures it looks quite short, but you'll want to factor in room for a large HSF - which you have in your rig at the moment.

this case is actually going to be for a new rig. with the gpu and heatsink, i figure it will be about 8 inches tall on the main chamber. the tt120 ultra is about 6 3/8 inches tall, so that plus stand off for mobo.
i think im gonna use slimline dvd burners to cut height, but its still gonna make the psu stick up about 16inches off the table. maybe i should relocate it to another corner of the unit and keep it on the case itself.
oh and sorry about all the posts. im just lost on what to do. or if i should even try
