i think im gonna use slimline dvd burners to cut height, but its still gonna make the psu stick up about 16inches off the table. maybe i should relocate it to another corner of the unit and keep it on the case itself.
oh and sorry about all the posts. im just lost on what to do. or if i should even try
Don't have doubts just go for it, it will be fun

ok last thought before work. i might do away with the walls, rearrange the layout a bit, and build the entire case out of copper tubing. just frame it out. run copper tubes to carry all the wires, like extreme wire sleeving. might put some clear plexi over it to keep dust out.

Just a warning - everywhere I've seen it, copper piping hasn't been cheap...

i have about 8 feet of 3/4 and 8 feet of 1/2 waiting out in my shed just dying to be a new case. just gotta get the joints. here is what i was originally looking at for this idea
http://common.ziffdavisinternet.com/...=118032,00.jpg
but all my wires and connections will be shrouded in copper wire as well. you really wont see anything but copper and boards. i was looking for a copper cpu cooler, but was told it wouldnt be worth loosing the performance of a tt120 ultra.
