Default [Complete] Litlratt's Lian-Li Cube

Completed

I've been wanting one of the Lian-Li cubes ever since the first time I seen a photo of one.
I had the opportunity to sell my G70 and one of my Waterkegs so I thought I'd splurge and get one. I don't know how much modding I'll do to it as the game plan is take my existing parts and add a PA120, Laing D5 and reservoir for my cpu/nb loop.
Hope you enjoy the pix.

Huuuuge box

Front view......that's right, 18 5.25 bays

Component side. Psu, pump hard drives, etc.

Rear view. I don't like 80mm fans, but I'll put them on a controller. One of the cutouts will be used for water lines.

Mobo side. Plenty of room.

Front with some goodies in there.

This could change as I expect to put the pump in the 5.25's on the bottom of the case.

Hosing the GTX's.

Rear view with some of the parts installed.

There are larger pix in my gallery.

Was able to get both loops up and flowing today.
Used some 2" wide Velcro strips to mount the PA120 on top of the case behind the Waterkeg.
Installed the Kama Bay cages with Loons. Will mount an AeroCool Powerwatch on the left side and a Nexus fan controller on the right side tomorrow.

Front is almost full.

Both loops going.

This side got a bit crowded but no need for wire management as it will be concealed.

Side window cut and fans installed.

Thought I'd try one of the AeroCool PowerWatch Multifunctional Panel doodads.
More crap than I'll probably ever use but high on the coolness scale.

Mobo side finished. Clean looking imho.

Side window with fans installed. As a result of rounding the corners, I wasn't able
to position the fans exactly where I wanted them, but they're close. I'll keep that
in mind on the next one.

AeroCool installed.

Nice case. Can't beat a Lian Li.

I wondered how the airflow would be in a case THAT big.

Pics are kinda dark.

Hey, cool, fellow Hoosier.

I'll see if I can edit the pix to get them brighter once I get that rig up and running. They should have been fine as I just replaced the battery.
There is one major design flaw with the case. The left side of the right 5.25 frame is practically inaccessible. Instead of the slot in the mobo tray, they should have cut a window.

Can't wait to see it all assembled! What fans do you have going in it? That thing is gonna have a whole lot of air flow for something that doesn't need it, lol!

Now, please tell me you don't have a little docking station for HDDs...
