Hah! My patience is really being put to the test. I want this case mod to be the best that I can do.... that means waiting for the paint to cure. I have put final coats on everything and waxed exterior parts. The internal parts are almost done curing. I have already re-assembled the chassis and internal frame (very carefully, and after about 5 days of cure-time). I am going to let it sit for a few more days before I start working on the interior and installing components.

...meanwhile back at the Bat-Cave (

) I have been working on the mundane tasks, such as sleeving and painting of some connectors and peripheral parts. I have also been working on some of the more engaging tasks such as the windows and the panels that will be used to mount the radiators.

All the hardware is in, and I will be introducing it later on next week.

Nice paint job, wow in fact. Good job photographing it I know first hand how hard it is to get a good picture of how you see it, with metallic paints and such. When I first saw that case and how it was built it inspired me to plan a build from scratch that is loosly based on it. $200 bucks later I think I have enough materials. How do you like the layout of that case? Is it roomy enough? Would you change anything?

THat is a lotta work. One of the main reasons I try to stay away from paint altogether.

I like your color choice for the case...it really suits that shape and size.
