Flame On
Decided to add a flame to my CCC Raptor X case today. Yesterday I put a fairly complex one together for the give-away case. This one is mor like the small flame in the familiar "Pursuit of Peformance" logo.
I want to thank Syrillian for the all this lovely plastic he sent me free of charge. I'll be talking to Santa    Three colors of blue plastic and my new Scroll Saw.                How about that     Because the paper backing is brownish it distors the look of th thing..but you get the idea  I even made the "flamelet"       Flame On Dude  The base layer is UV reactive...

Next time the wife is out and about I plan to try out fusing some pieces togther in the oven on a piece of glass...anything over about 220F will soften th acrylic. I figure ten minute at 275 might fuse the layers together...

I got mine from TAP Plastic but I also use some from US PLastics
It is possibl to see the bond. It's not ideal for laminating...but it will work.

Heeeeyyy....
..those panels turned out kinda cool.  Personally, I would have wanted to have the hues match the OCN flame to a "T", but that was all the blue shades that TAP Plastics had. Still... the flame looks great! Grrrr.... I want that saw!
