Thanks Spaz. It is an inexpensive solution that looks just fine. If you have a little glue stick, rub it around the hole-edge first, so that the screen spline stays in place. It will make your life easier.

That scheme looks really suhhhweet! The inside definitely has a WOW factor going on. I know you dont want to paint more but just imagine how attractive the case will look if you did it like the pwr supply with a stripe of yellow on the black outside It would really accent the whole project!. Kudos.

Thank you. I actually considered it, but matching the yellow paint to the original stripe was really hard and I liked the big black contrast to the overwhelming yellow.

Blake - I'll check it out. Thx for the link.

Hey man, I have the same PSU as you (and case) Currently, I am at my Antec 900 nvidia casemod.. But when I saw how a yellow one turned, out I really wanted to do this myself.

I was wondering on one thing tho.. Can you show me a closeup picture of the hole for the 8pin cable you made? I'd like to have my8pin behind the motherboard tray aswell, but can't seem to find any of your pics detailed at that area. Thanks

- I have not decided yet, whetever or not to stay with green black theme or go yellow black..

Picture of my current rig;
No matter what I end up doing, i'll do some cable management cutting here and there. I have the newer version of the 900, so I already got two holes. (need 8pin cable hole and psu hole)
A bit oldish pic, have better cable management now; (you cansee that I need to repaint it.. as I did not use primer.. D: )

Here are a couple of photos of the 8pin cut out. Now - these are photos from the Fusion Case Mod (link is in my sig), but it is the same case so it should still help you.

I STRONGLY advise you to mount your mobo FIRST, figure out where the hole should be - then cut your hole. Don't assume it is the same place as mine. Also be warned, this was the hardest hole to cut out of all of them, because of the fold in the mobo tray at the base of the cut. Just take your time and make the hole a little larger than it needs to be and your cable will go through no problem.

Cable routing behind the mobo.

Let me know if I can help you out with anything else.
