Well that would be correct but I don't have a mobo for this case yet. I am not planning on buying components until i have the case done. I could measure my 680i that is in my current computer but with all of the wires and stuff would be a pain. So i was looking for an easier alternative. I guess some would call it laziness.

Nice, this will look a lot better than my server which lives in a cheap Rosewill case.

Hmm been brain storming but a quick search yielded no companies with mobo templates online. You could take your current rig apart or decide on a mobo now if you dont want to measure. Unless you can find a screw whole template for standard ATX somewhere.

Good news everyone I found a Mounting hole diagram for ATX and MATX.

Here is the link. page 3.2

This is so much easier then actually measuring, probably more accurate also. Thanks for looking demonbane.

Does the case have rollers/casters? My full tower case (same height, but not as deep) has rollers on it and it makes moving it around 20x easier! Its a very useful mod, especially if you get rollers that lock up, so the case doesn't move if you don't want it to...

Its also one of my own personal hopefuls with a future case mod (same full tower case), but how about a row of 60mm fans all along the top of one/both sides, or strategically placed all around the top (like spaced out evenly, and two wide side-to-side; with my case I would fit 8 on the top), in place of the 120mm? It would make for a nice heat remover. I was thinking of doing either, using silent fans with LEDs, which under the mesh you're using could make for a very interesting (almost) UFO effect... but if you don't like, then its all mine!!!

Thanks ice I have seen other ask the same question and not get a response. I will probably sig that link so i don't forget where it is at.

oneluv, I haven't really decided on my cooling scheme yet. I was thinking side fans but yet I and a firm believer in the "air tunnel" from front to back. And with three icages pushing air in i am suppling plenty air to go right through the cpu cooler and out the 120 and the 2 PSU's to exhaust. Temps will tell me if it need more work. thanks for the input though.

Here is an update, finally I know. It has been a busy Christmas break so far. Anyway here are some pics of the paint process. I skipped taking pictures of the primer. This is the first coat but so far it looks really good. The red is very vibrant which is just what I wanted.

I will not be painting the inside of the case until I buy a mobo. The mobo hole locations are not in the standard ATX locations so instead of screwing up where to drill them. I decided to use the mobo that will be mounted as a template.

What would everyone suggest for a server motherboard? I want to run C2D upgradeable to a quad. I will be overclocking it so the board should be able to handle both. No need for SLI.

Anyway on to the pics (These are from 2 days ago I hope to post the final paint and the beginning reconstruction tonight or tomorrow.)

Everything ready to paint

Black Parts (excuse the fog, right after painting)

Why do you want a server motherboard? A P5K-E would be an excellent choice, and I even know where to get one for $110 shipped
