Thezman: thanks for the advice on the sanding.
To give a update. The project is temporarily put on hold till spring break. I hope to have a mobo and CPU ready to use by then. List of items left to finish 1) Drill new mounting holes for mobo 2) Paint interior of case. 3) buy new fans (red or white LED) 4) Cable management plan 5) Sand final paint with 2000 6) Overclock and see how it runs So until Spring break it will just be me looking for a great deal on a LGA775 mobo and a CPU.

You know, I have necro'd more threads in my time - I should register at Forums as N3cr0Manc3r. I don't mean to either. I just don't look at dates. I got the link to this thread from the guys signature on another thread...

Thanks for the love. This project isn't completely finished yet. I have loaned the case to my finance when her dell died. That was over a year ago. So in a 9 months i should have it back to truly finish it.

I think 56k may be faster than this mods completion. Though I hope to get started on a new gateway case mod soon. I have started the planning stage but am waiting to post on it due to my busy summer travel schedule. It will also move along at the speed of 56k. Slow and steady wins the race, right??
