In your face Flanders!

4400MHz with CPU-z validation
http://premium1.uploadit.org/soundx9...00Verified.JPG

4300MHz runs great but Core 1 craps out after an hour (heat probably) while Core 2 keeps chugging along for hours (aborted it after 4/8)
http://premium1.uploadit.org/soundx98//4300-Detail.JPG

Super Pi at 11 secs
http://premium1.uploadit.org/soundx98//SuperPi.JPG

Ran the rig overnight for 8 hours at 4300 looping a movie.
No issues at all and very responsive.

I would bet I'll wind up at 4200MHz 24 hour stable unless I can lick the heat issue on Core 1.
I'll try and post an SS later.

So far I am really impressed by the E8400's performance.

I also think the Everest Stress is pretty nifty for monitoring temps
http://premium1.uploadit.org/soundx9...tress-Test.JPG

To those with a DFI LT LP P35 T2R, I wouldn't worry about flashing the 109 Bios at this point.
I couldn't even get into the Bios without flashing to it and the Tmod/Loggan CD did a superb job of making it easy for me.
http://csd.dficlub.org/forum/showthread.php?t=1525
hats off to those oldfahts

Pick up a spare Bios Chip (much cheaper than a CPU) and keep an Official Bios on it in Case of Armageddon.
Great idea to have one of the around anyway with a DFI board.
(plus a Rosary, prayer shawl, and a couple of Nuns)

Thanks for all the words of encouragement.
(I got so much wood I could poke your eye out from here)

My Command Rate is at 2T instead of 1T.
Did I miss a setting?

Ok, I have to stop reading this thread, I'm getting soo jealous of all the cool hardware and stuff you are putting together! Those are some awesome overclocks on that 8400, congrats!

Everything looks really sweet (still).

This has been a very entertaining read (I've been lurking for a week or so) and the case is really turning out nicely. At first I wasn't feeling the handles, but they actually work, and the mirrored side is very, very nice.

I really want to paint the inside of my case (Stacker 832) black, but I don't know if I'd be able to put it back together after. Plus, I don't have any paint or a place to paint.

Thanks Syr,
Jasmine told me to thank you for a wonderful weekend and she hopes to be back soon.
(she also asked me to find out what Shampoo you used)

Overclocking is a lot like case modding, it takes time, patience, a plan and the right "tools".
And of course a little luck.

May have to hire you to keep me pumped up on the final phase of the build.
Ya, my "simple case swap" has definitely gone out of control.
Thanks again for the kind words.

Ya, we saw you lurking man.
(you spent a lot of time reviewing the pictures of the girls)

Don't think I could ask for a better compliment than "this has been a very entertaining read". Much appreciated.

I love Stackers, lots of room to work and a real sweet design.
You may want to try getting some black (or whatever color) construction paper and placing it in the case to give you a feel of what it would look like.
You can probably find some place local to do the painting for you if you like it.

And vinyls can be used instead of paint as well.

Still messing with motherboard out of case and doing a lot of measuring and sketching.
The 4GHz+ sure gave me a jump start

Hire?! As in a job? With pay? SWEET!! When do I start? I'll pump you up so much you'll be stoked until your next system build!~

Books are too old school. Since this is the 21st century and all, we need a multimedia presentation, with hi-res glam shots of the girls!

And a secret, password-protected area with other hi-res shots of the girls!

Proceeds from the sale of the DVD could go to F.L.A.C.C.I.D: Foundation for Laborers Adjusting Computers & Cases Incessantly & Daily

Thought I'd snap a few pics of the "lab" and "workbench" areas.

I always set up and test the rig before I put it in the case.
