Sounds like a plan Soundx98! These are looking great!

Onthe transformers for the CCFL's: I wouldn't worry about heat from them too much. I had a set in the floorboard of my truck (where it got pretty hot) and had no adverse effects on them. Put them where ever you can fir them

I'm thinking of getting the inverters "nekid" and mounting them on the underside of the radobases

That's where I was thinking to place them, if they were mine to place. Wouldn't be noticeable at all inside the bases, especially with a nice A900 sitting on top

That, and there's a limit as to how long the wiring from the inverter to the CCFL can be; if the wiring is too long, part of the CCFL tube will remain unlit.

Ah yes, true. I had forgot about that, its been years since I bought mine . Never had to think about that, I always had the inverter close by. You have it under control man, I'll leave you to your work
