My current rig has lasted me for almost 4 years, but it is time to retire the thing as my main desktop and gaming pc. I'm not a dedicated moder or builder by any means, but when I do build my computers I try hard to build a rig that will last.

So here are a few things I would like to include in this build:

1. Water cooling
2. Multi-Core
3. 4Gb Ram
4. Future proof
5. Fan and Light controllers

for your watercooling gear, i suggest petras tech shop, jab-tech, and your local hardware store.
if you want specifics, PM me and ill try to point you in the right direction.

Ditto

The best recommendation I can make in terms of a WC setup is to avoit kits/parts from the likes of Koolance and Thermaltake

I stick with components from DangerDen, Swiftech, EK-waterblocks, Thermochill, D-Tek, Hardware Labs, and LIANG.

Petra's Tech Shop is awesome and both of the guys there know what they're talking about and are very happy to offer assistance in selecting the right components for your loop.

If you need help in selecting the right components, just ask (many of us are happy to help) of call Petra's Tech if you want some one-on-one service.

Hi.

For water cooling parts I would take a gander at:

ThermoChill radiators
Switech Micro Reservoir
Laing pump (aka D5, Swiftech MCP 6xx - sorry can't recall)
D-Tek blocks (CPU [Fuzion], and GPU)
D-Tek uni-sink

...someones gonna have some fun!

I got it stripped down last night, I have to say I'm not nearly as impressed with right now as I expected to be with everybody saying it's such a good case.

1) Granted it was $40 but the steel version is absurdly heavy

2) Tool-less stuff just annoys the crap out of me
3) No motherboard tray - I could have sworn it had one
4) Other minor problems

I'm a perfectionist so I was pretty disappointed at first look. But honestly once I got it stripped down the weight wasn't as bad, I'll probably just loose the tool-less crap, not sure what to do about a mobo tray.

I'd give this thing a 7/10 because of the price.

Case freshly unboxed, labels on bagged parts, and taped up window panel with plastic still on...

A couple of quick mods I did..

I actually live about 2 minutes from performance-pcs.com so I'll probably get a majority of my stuff there to save on some shipping.

Whats nice about WC in a TT armor is you can put a 240 rad in the front of the inside and have it blow the hot air out the front. It isnt the most efficient way of doing it but its completely internal.

If your more worried about performance use shrouds off the back like everyone else

the easiest way of posting pics is to upload the jpeg files to an image host (e.g. photobucket.com) then insert them here with image tags i.e.
PHP Code:

Wait what... most people I've seen with front mounted internal rads still use them as an intake. Or at least thats what I thought. I would think turning that into an exhaust would really screw with internal airflow.

But yea this is going to be an internal LCS system. I don't want anything outside the case.
