very nice job! did you think of putting some c/u-channel on the window cutout. It can make it look a whole lot better with hardly any extra effort. If you find a place to get them, other than online, let me know. +rep

I didnt I used pretty much whatever I had at the house for this build without buying anything extra. I have (on a later case build/cable management for a friend) used some vacuum hose from a auto parts store as U-channel. Get a smaller size (3/8" or 1/4" iirc) and just spit it down the middle. It works *shrug* lol

does it look the same? as long as it doesn't interfere with the window fitting flat on the panel i think i'll try that on my next mod.

Well-

A. I've never seen/used the 'real' U channel everyone uses yet so I cant say if its the same. It does look the same to me though, maybe a little thicker depending on the hose you get I suppose.

B. I was used to line a cable management hole, not a window. Not sure how it would effect mounting. Probably a little thicker than U channel like I said but if you were using the double sided tape you could just layer the tap up 2-3 layers high and not have a problem.

Hope that helps some bro!

The one I referred to is a landfill here in the next county over that has an electronic dumpster. When people throw away computers/tv's/printers/etc, it goes in that bin not the main landfill area. We go there on the weekend and scrounge through it. Check local laws however, it's considered "scavenging" here and is illegal. But we went w/a friend who is in well w/the place so they let him in.
