I have that same case but it is far from as cool as yours. Nice mods you gave me some ideas on HDD mounting to enable a fan in front. I like the paint job as well as the wire management.

Thanks! The wire management is almost too easy on this particular case. You have to play around routing the wires a few dif ways to get them as flat as possible and then argue with the side panel to get it back on after running the wires but its not bad. PM me if you need any tips or advice!

I have this same exact case and system. The crappy part about all this is that if you wanted to upgrade your system and use this case, it wouldn't be possible. The fpanel connectors for everything are custom. You're hdd led, pwr button, nothing would work. Believe me, it's been a pain in the ass for me.

If you plan on keeping the system though, great job.

Im keeping the hardware for now and transferring them into the new case Project Phoenix, at least until I can piece together new equipment I'm eyeing.

wow nice job! looks awesome! I have the exact same case, I spray painted the silver black, and the blue white*edit the side panels are black*. soldered white leds to replace originals. I was thinking about cutting a hole in the side for a intake fan, is it easy to cut with a drill and a jigsaw?(thats how you did it right?) Anyway, nice job, your cables are alot cleaner than mine...heh...i did the same thing with the ide cables...now i just need some white fans...

Yea the side panel is really soft metal. It was a pain in my to get those tribals cuts. LOL, definately didnt think that out. But for a regular fan hole or a square window a drill and jigsaw will work. Just make sure you have two people there, one to help hold the panel while you drill/cut. Feel free to PM me if you need some help man.

Awesome Build. I like your cuttin style.. Reallllll artsy.. and really good as well. Drimmels are great arent they.. I also love redoing old cases.. Just finshed my last one. Abs makes it and I copied it. Well actually lian li was the first to make it the 500. I havent done the transplant yet but its about to be my new case.. I call it stealth. It looks like a tall speaker with chrome lian li wheels on it.. I love it.
