True, but I don't think there is a huge difference between a quality piece of metal with a 45* bend and and normal piece of metal with a 45* bend.

Then again, I bet it would be fun making mounts for all those PCI cards

It's 1/2in IIRC. I also have some 1/4 that I was thinking of using for the left side panel (the side where windows normally are).

1/2" is plenty! If you like I can send you a bunch of standoffs that are only 1/8" in length (the screw part I mean).

if your mobo pan has a 45* bend in it, it aint anything resembling ATX spec
![]() (I think you meant 90*) but you can easily do it without the pan, I only used one because if you look at my project, if I would have cut the case to accept the mobo, the pci cards would have nothing to screw on to. Get the spec templates and cut out the back yourself

oh yeah, thanks for the catch CR. Yeah, 90* from the mobo tray to the rear panel I/O and expansion cards.
When I get home from vacation (leaving on saturday for Washington State) I'll start measuring up .Manyak, as long as you're not using the standoffs, I would love to have them . I think it should wait until I get home at the end of the summer though.CR, you have to walk me through tapping holes. Do I drill a 1/8" deep hole and then tap that? Or do I have to drill all the way through?

You need a sponsor right? Well, if you are willing to etch "Blitz6804" across your main panel, I can hook you up...
With a massive $2.
