Been afflicted for about two weeks now with a low grade something that has been sapping me of energy. It's hard to get more than about 4 hours in. Considering I often stay at it for 14=18 hours ata stretch it's a set back.

Snagged a CPU today for the build. That way I can leave Poison unmolested (for now) and have something to play with that is somewhat destructible. It's a good-clocking Xeon 3060 (Server equivalent to the E6600) reputed to run at 3.6 at 1.42 Vcore.
We'll see how this board treats the chip. It apparently killed the Penryn ES I has in their originally. Since it is voltmodded it's possible that it will kill again

It's Alive!
Took me a bit longer to get around to this than I thought...but the beast is alive and hooked to the Monolith and ready to kill again.
Got the Q6600 in the socket and will see what kind of Super Pi times I can get...looking for some plus 4 runs here Pics!  That MASSIVE waterblock on the bench is BRUTE FORCE a one-ff design by Iandh that has to weigh close to a pound...it's totally off the hook. The chipset blocks are all handmade by Martinm210. Thanks guys! This is one special LC rig...   THe blocks are all seated down on thermal tape or Artic Ceramique to avoid any unfortunate electrical transmission from any ooze.   Here it is on my SFF Techstation hooked to my trusty Silverstone Zeus 560 Watt Continuous PSU and the Hydra.  One thing I really like about the Monolith is adding a loop is simple and easy to bleed. Turn the pump on long enough to push the air to the res and refill: done.  THat's the kind of temps I like to see on the Motherboard...the VoltModded P5K3Deluxe is no *****cat and needs all the cool it can get.    Techstation has several UV lights built in for leaktesting and general eyecandy  That's what the tubes actually look like to the eye in person...a lovely sapphire blue...  With the Flash (or the UV off) the tubes have a coke-bottle green color that is not entirely unpleasant...  But this is what it really looks like...  I have had a dozen or so rigs on this LC set up and this one is really blowing my mind...just what I always thought an LC rig should look like  The Corsair DDR3 1333 gets pretty warm at stock and hot enough to toast marshmellows overvolted and underload at 1600...the loudest thing on the rig is the darn RAM cooler... Some close ups of the waterblocks in a sec...gotta go take a cold shower

            That's the beast...just getting started. I like to get a rig on the Techstation and beat it to hell before bothering to make anything fancy happen        Time to do some OverClocking
