That is just plain beautiful.

Woah!... its really crowded in that lower chamber with both rads, but it looks as though it might work out well... although I wonder about the intake on the 120... will there be enough headspace and opening(s) for the rads fan to breath?

Awesome build Marcus. Man.... your like the Hugh Hefner of PC building and modding..."super-models only, please" ... you only use the sexah stuff!

hehe yeh its gonna be a really tight fit down there, remind me to never use a TJ07 for triple loops again, the V2K would of been much more suited to it

LOL im digging that title!! Wonder if admin will change it for me...

BTW: Congrats on the write up, my copy arrived this morning!! TBH I thought they would of gone for Liquid Chamelion.. the water in that looks like treacle!!

True, but I dont like the V2K as much as the TJ07! Hopefully Silverstone will bring out the TJ11 by the time I next upgrade, which will be when the proper G100 (sic 9800) emerges.

I am still dreaming about a Double wdth case, TJ07 esque front (and height), roof based pop up panel from TJ10, airflow vents and long card support from Tj10 - no door!. Oh and the Depth of th TJ10 as well.

The front also needs to be machined from one piece of alu as well!

Any takers ?? ;-)

Default Fan Control (complex) any advice ?

This thread, is as posted on the Mcubed forums here, I am hoping that some people on here miht be able to advise or comment!

Hi Guys,

I am a little unsure of where to put this thread, (as I don;t yet know which product will be suitable) so I thought I best put it here!

I am after some product advice - 'Its a what do I need and can I do X' type of thread.

I am currently having this watercooled pc modification built (Link to spec and details), and we are now looking at fan controllers, temps and monitoring.

Thinking it through I have 3*120mm fans that I want to work as a unit, 3*120 for a second unit, 1*120mm for a third, (those being the three radiators) and 2*92mm case intake fans, 2*120 HDD fans and 2*120 exhaust fans.

So I that gives me 13*120mm and 2*92mm, that I want to control in 6 'units'.

Will I be able to use T-Balancers in this fashion ? If so what would I need product wise ?

In addition - Temps:

I understand you can monitor temps with the appropriate sensors, what am I better off monitoring, air\surface temps at various points, or the temp of the liquid ? (I believe you have this as an option ? Please see the thread linked above for details of the cooling spec).

If I can do the above, I assume I should be using these temps to drive the fans, rather than manually setting a static speed anywhere.

Would I be able to do this with the TBalancer products ?

In addition - LCD Screen

I have ordered a Typhoon GX TriColour screen (see this thread here for details and questions on it.

Can I use the add on from your range to display the fan speed, and temps from each Zone or raidator ?

So, all in all, is this product \ products a good fit, and what precisey woud I need to make it all work ?

Cheers,

Miz

So you are only going to do the water on 2 of the cards?

I guess you would have to, doesnt look like you could get a 3rd block to fit in there.

Nope at the moment there is only 2 cards going in, read back earlier in the thread to see why.
In short - it makes much more sense just to go with normal SLI with the G92 GTS' cards and then when the new G92 GTX / Ultras come out, maybe go triple SLI then.

I can assure you though, that it IS possible to fit 3 cards and waterblocks into the same setup, see here:
http://www.overclock.net/water-cooli...80i-board.html

PS: lol can anyone answer Mizpah's question ^^^ ???
It looks like we ARE gonna go for a Matrix Orbital LCD as well as an mCubed T Balancer as they can comminuate with each other somehow.

The 'somehow' appears to be a plugin written for lcdstudio (as used by the Typhoon GX) which can communicate and pull data directly from the tbalancer hardware (internal usb).

If anyone can be precise over the exact kit needed from mCubed, or answer the questions about the Typhoon that would be great - I am still a little vauge in each case (please see the seperate threads).

Cheers,

Miz

PS: How many internal USB headers are on the mobo Marcus ? I have just realised we have used two already!

Quick update on this, I have got all the case internals back from powdercoating, not much to see as it's currently in bits.. can't put it back together until the outer case has been coated!

Don't think I posted a pic of this before I took it to get coated but basically this is the middle divider than runs through the case.
Originall it was split into 3 smaller sections so I whipped out the dremel out made it into one big area, the black acrylic false floor will cover this up afterwards

Richi has also made a start on the acrylic etching.. this will go nicely behind a laser cut side panel and be lit up with either white or UV LED's!!

Etching and laser side panel should be finished pretty soon!! Cant wait
