gemini was very sweet imo. but as most of my friends said, watercooling on it was overkill. was there really a need for two WC loops/systems in there? x_x

Looks amazing, was drawing up some case designs with a similar shape earlier too!

The layout is confusing me though...

Motherboard on the top, DVD drive and PSU on the bottom.

The mirror acrylic in there is making things worse!

I am inclined to agree with pjlietz... but I do see your, and your friends' point of view.

If I may speak freely:

This common hobby that we all share posseses different aspects of the same passion; a passion that has numerous facets, some of which are a necessity (hardware) and other facets that are not (case/aesthetics).

Building PC's, Cases, Liquid Loops and doing other modifications is more than just having a killer gaming rig, a Showcase worthy rig, or enough Ghz to run a sub-9 SuperPi.... at least to me.

It is about creating rather than destroying.

P.S. prosser, sorry about the disorienting reflective properties of acrylic... another member PM'd me as they were also confused.... heck! I'm confused sometimes when I look at it I'm all, "hmmmm... which way is up? "

Well.... that didn't take long.

Heh! All I had to do was slap some stuff I already had together using some glue and "voila!" -not much involved there.

Fairly soon there will be a little meeting between this project, a few unsuspecting CPU's and a P5B-Deluxe that does a 500 FSB.

The fan controllers lights were entirely too bright. Removing them was simple as they contacts merely slid into receptacles (no soldering = no de-soldering... yay!).

So that's it.

The hardware is destined for Indigo:

• E6850 @ 3.7
• 7900GT (volt-moded)
• Evga 680i A1
• Corsair RAM
• 150GB Raptor
• Lite-on optical

Here they are together, doing what they do best.

I totally agree. I really like just putting stuff together. I'd be much happier building a couple of cool set-ups for some PII's than one stock-looking thing for a QX6950 and Ultras...

Oh, and that's a really nifty torture rack you've got there. more reps for you.
