Meh to each their own. I will never run a case without proper filtering. I have seen the aftermath if you let dust build up for to long.

i still think it is easier to just hover out your case every so often than to buy filters, install them, clean them every so often, and in my oppien the airflow is restricted fen dust is on the fillters

I built my system Nov 2006.. I have since cleaned the filters 4 times, reapplied thermal paste once.. and I still run 24 degrees celcius Idle . I hit about 36C on the very high end.

Thats not to bad at all

Correction on mine before I get totally flammed...I hit on the high end about 64-68c depending on room temp.

If I dont clean the filters for 6 months.. I may hit 70.. so imo filters > hover vac
