Meh, as soon as I can decide on that cut. I like the split window, but your right, the top cut will show the PSU. I'll have to look at the side panel on and off the case tonight and readjust it. I think with some tweaking it will work. Probably won't get to cut it until Friday. I have classes mon-thurs and i drive an hour and half one way to get to campus everyday. So by the time I get home at 6:30pm I'm wore out,lol. I will get some sandpaper and primer today hopefully so I can finish up the front bezel. I'm thinking of filling in the 3.5" bays ( I have the covers) and puttle power switch/ccl switches there. What do you think? The fan controller Im getting is a 5.25" bay version.

Any other ideas for the window? If not I'm going to try and draw out the current design I have on the window tonight so I can get ready to cut thurs-friday. Should be getting some plexi from a friends uncle this weekend too. xD

It still has a way to do. You havent missed much,lol. I hav emy college classes mon-thurs so sadly I only get to work on the weekends for myself. It will get primed this weekend though! Just sent off the MO to dranom for a fan controller and one 120mm. Cant wait to get them. Parts coming in are always exciting! lol

Gor the day off from school and work and its pretty clear outside. Good day to work! Hope to get the front bezel sanded and primed and maybe even get this window cut out. Still trying to get an idea for paint colors. Any suggestions are welcome guys!

Short mini update. Got the first coat sianded down and got another coat of bondo on.

Sanded down, a few low spots I have to build up. And I want a small lip around the tubes as well.

Now, I know your wondering what the tape is for. Its a little trick/tip I'm going to tell you about in a few more pics. Just wait,lol.

Next coat going on.

Heres where that tape comes in at. If you put int along the side, after you put the filler on just peel the tape off. Leaves a clean edge almost every time. Alot easier than danding chunks of excess bondo off.

And also make sure you scrape excess filler out of the tube while it is still pliable and soft. Otherwise its a PAIN to get out when its dried,lol.

Ok thats all for now, heading back out to sand this coat down and hopefully get the finishing touches put on the front.

Update

Well, as planned, I got the front bezel sanded and primed today. Got the fan holes drilled and mounted up for a test fit. I have to trim the bottom intake tube to clear the 120mm fan and theres a few pinholes/runs in the primer that will be addressed but overall I'm very happy with how this is coming along. Might try to get the window down tomorrow. Then I can test fit my mobo and see where cable management holes need to go. On to the pics!!

Finally smoothed out using 60grit. I also put in the bottom 3.5: cover and filled it in, looks ALOT better IMO. Time for primer!!

Got the fans mounted after MUCH headache and hassle getting them to line up evenly in the intakes (i'm a perfectionist/mild OCD, I still think they're offsides some,LMAO) And please excuse the MASSIVE amounts of dust on the 90mm fan. It came from an old PSU someone donated, Im surprised the comp didnt burn to the ground!

Fans and bezel mounted.And for some reason the fluorescent bulb in my room lamp made my camera go crazy in the background. I dont know why it gave a red glow *shrugs* The 'turbines' will look AMAZING though, its looks so awesome,lol. Much better than even I was hoping for!

And a little before/after shot. Pretty nice if I do say so myself.
