You won't be able to increase the multiplier any higher then what it comes from stock from Intel.
Core 2 Extreme's are the only Intel CPU's I know of with an unlocked multiplier.

Ahh ok.

So I can only change the FSB to increase it? I'm at 1000mhz right now with a 9 multi, 2.25gHz

If i remember all i did was raise the FSB to 333*9 and it booted but was unstable and then added some vcore and it was 12 hours stable. Very simple and easy to overclock.

This friggin Q6600 G0 just keeps failing prime95 few seconds into it. 375*8 or 333*9. Tried various settings and nothing. I did manage to boot into windows at 3.6ghz. Also sometimes when I shut down the computer and start up, no post or beep. Have to clear CMOS

Now am waiting to get a Vendetta 2 or a TRUE for it as soon as I get some money

If you got a good E2160, 3Ghz shouldn't be a problem. Here's a shot of my bios which should look vaguely similar to yours. Good luck oc'n
