[Project] Blood Is Pouring
After having this antec P180B for about 6 months i have decided it is time to mod. This project will be in stages where time and money allow, but I have thought out the stages and they are:
Stage 1 Install a thermalright IFX-14 CPU HS, HR-05 IFX NB HS, HR-05 SLI IFX SB HS and 2 HR-09 mosfet HSs to the P5E DFI DK P35-T2RS and vdroop mod it and also add a HR-03GT to my HD3870, get a custom made top from marcus with a window and paint the interior black and take off the front door. Stage 2 Add a window to the side panel, install a scythe kama 120mm fan in the unused 5.25" bays, switch my 2x1GB crucial lanfests to 2x2GB crucial ballistx tracers red and change my PSU to a corsair HX620 all fans will be red with some red led bars in there aswell. I will add pics of the completed stages to the second post

__________________DFI Dark box  The mobo  Lapped Q6600  The now dead P5E without the X38 chip  Top whipped off  Its not pretty but who cares when it will be covered in black arcylic  Hard drive holder primed  Hard drive holder painted in BMW jet black  Case primed  Case painted in BMW jet black  The R670 Core with a load of thermal paste  All nice and clean  The ICH9R caked in Thermal paste  A nice line of IC Diamond  A little TR goes a long way   and another angle  Stage 2 Xilence red wings fans from watercoolinguk.co.uk I have 6 of these ATM and the case is still silent  Scythe kama bay cooler I switched the fan for a red wing  Corsair HX520  Another Shot  2 4GB sets of G.Skill 1066 PKs  Another shot  G.Skills fitted  Front panel with all holes cut and drilled and the bottom 2 fan filters on  By Bitemarks666 Front panel stuck on  By Bitemarks666 Window Cut just waiting for the u channel now  By Bitemarks666

Stage 1 update
i got home from work today and i now have my thermalright CPU, chipsets and mosfet H/Ss and have ordered 2 red Xilence fans and a top window kit from watercoolinguk.co.uk i should have these on monday and all i need is the dremel some paint and some time and stage one will go ahead. i will post some pics of the gear once i get home from my G/Fs

well i have have some bad news and some good news. Bad news first i have ripped the X38 northbridge chip clean of the P5E while trying to remove the heatpipe so it is now deader than a dead thing with pretty much no hope of rmaing it. Good news I have ordered a DFI Lanparty DK P35-T2RS which will be here on thursday and as soon as I have made sure it works I will be using the thermalright gear on that instead. i will get pics up asap of the now P5E(RIP) and of the X38

That sucks. I would recommend the saitek eclipse over the eclipse 2, imo the first one was better looking and of higher quality. Good luck!
