I just got a chance to mess with the new q6700 today in my X48 board. It seems like a winning combo. All thats left is the new res from CD and then I can start the rebuild. I'll post some pics on Saturday because I have to get a new oc'er started tomorrow.

Here some pics of what I've changed so far. I filled in the old floppy drive, made a new switch panel, and changed the orange fans to uv green. Depending on when my new res arrives I should be done by about next Monday or so.
