Yee, they're just way too bright. Even during the day they're annoying.

Thanks bro. I hope to have this wrapped up soon, but there are just dumb little delays.. like broken 6-32 taps

The tube on the right goes to a fill port up top.

That is a good idea, but I was thinking of a different spot. Like under the 5.25" bays right in front of the fan.

And + for everything man. Btw, I too know how freaking bright those Rhoebus LED's are, I killed them in my Phoenix build as well.
It happens, but reading all 16 pages is You deserve a medal for that one. I'll have to look into some sort of indexing system on the first page. Glad you like it man I would say go for the metal once you finish your project. It's just a different kind of animal.

They're still on the bright side. I might have to change them out completely.

On another note, there has been little progress over the weekend, but i should have a few pics up later tonight. Added some more covers

I can't wait to see those new pic's! This build is great man! I wish I could get my hands on one of those cases, but I'm not paying for the Lian-Li version after hearing about all the great deals you all got.

Thanks Guys. My cam was running out of batteries so pics are a bit rushed. More to come when I find my charger.

Another piece to cover the rest of the nasty up, and channel the air better.

Overall.

Front panel with stealth DVD. Can you tell which one it is?

To open you press the bottom right corner of the cover.

Looking excellent... looks like we are probably in a similar line of work/hobby.

My Rocketfish likely will be my case mod comp entry, quite a few of the things you've done I already had planned before seeing your log... but I will likely steal the DVD drive cover.

I already bought a 2'x4' sheet of .080" 6061 for my entry when I was planning to scratch-build but that was before I picked this case up for $48.

So if you need any aluminum for cheap...

e: Oh, and for the brushed look, nothing beats scotch-brite abrasive pads for hand finishing.

Thanks man, always appreciated.

I'm in the aircraft industry. I mainly deal with mechanical stuff, tho trained in metal work also. Hobby wise we're on the same page tho. I just wish I had the access to a machine shop as you do.

Looking forward to seeing your case, which will probably be when the comp ends. I doubt I will enter, so no access to the private area here.

I actually just ordered some sheets last week for RPIJG's project. If I only knew I would be all over yours..

I have a few scotchbrite pads laying around, but they're very fine. I'll have to look into some coarser stuff.
