That is more proportional but it seems a bit busy. I'm leaning towards just a plain square type cut after thinking about it for a while. I think I will leave it for now as I have some other plans..

Yea that is where it's supposed to go.

Had to spend ~5 minutes scrolling through all of the 30 pages.

BTW, how do I customize it such that I can view more posts per page? I can't seem to find the option in my CP.
Anyways, great job, hope you finish the case soon!
I will be posting the finished pics on the front page. Might even try to work out some sort of index.. Thanks and I too hope it's done soon.

I did notice that one before. I'm not sure who jacked who, but mine is still better No blinding lights I use a Sony DSC-T50 btw.

Ok now on the project front. I had an idea.. It seems like a good idea, but then again it might drive this project into the ground.. I was thinking about getting another Rocketfish and making a big ass PC-343 type of clone.. A bit taller and narrower tho. I found them for $50 in the area and I don't think I can stop myself..

The second case would hold all the cooling gear, and I guess another cooling loop would be in order.. Including a second reservoir with a different color coolant.

I think I'm going to go grab the case either way, even if I wouldn't go through with it. What do you guys think of joining two case together, and making a modular cube type of thing?

You will need to flip the door and also a divider in between so the doors are able to open. Also, you will probably need to mod the front bezel behind the door or the back of the case.

Yea I already have a few ideas on joining them. The door I was thinking about making it one big piece.. or maybe make them open from the inside out.

Sum0n3,
This thread inspired me to give up my CM690 and use the rocketfish.

I went ahead and picked up an extra Rocketfish since it cost me $17 out the door with gift cards BB gave me for a mix up (I placed an order for in-store pickup and they didnt have it). let me know if there is something you need from the case. I have plans for the side pannels, but if you need any of the cages, part of the frame or a new door, just let me know. All I would need is the shipping covered, nothing else.

Only problem would be that the case would look too fat.

Still, it's a good idea.

Yeah getting a rocketfish is on my list of things to buy. This is the order: Sound card, Rocketfish, new monitors.

Like i said before, I will have to adopt some of your ideas (consider it a complement)

Ohh, of the top of my head I would need the 5.25" cages and some bay covers.. I will see if I can come up anything else within the next few days. I really appreciate the offer

It's actually narrower than the 343, but taller. I have a few pics of them together that I will post in a few mins.

Well when you take it out of context then it seems like it's a pc-343 for $50.. But if you read the whole thing, then you can see I mean a Rocketfish not a 343. Then again I could have been clearer.
