Hi.
![]() Hooray for revitalizing older chassis' and computers! You mentioned airflow as one of the main functions that you were after. That being the case, I would try to get 120mm fans to fit. The front of the case seems to have some cosmetic blemishes, so cutting those portions out would not see you suffer. If you could modify the front, a single 120mm fan could be mounted there as an intake. For the exhaust, it looks as though there is enough surface area around the existing 80mm fan to accomodate another 120mm fan as an exhaust (replace 80mm with 120mm). To finish off the exhaust, a blowhole could be installed in the top of the case; and, if you are so inclined an additional intake on the side )again, 120mm The balance of performance and sound (cfm vs. dba) is much better for 120mm fans, that is why I would recommend removing the 80mm. If you wanted more ariflow, you could build a riser to lift the case off of it's resting surface and install some intakes on the underside.... but keeping the airflow unidirectional is probably best. I hope that this helps, and I look forward to seeing you transfrom "Bland" (no offense intended) to "Beauty" ![]()

Hmm... I say PSU at bottom, because for some reason I really like that
![]() Also, try some "body work" with bondo for that cool design. You can mold it mostly any way you want.

Yea bondo is gonna happen, and plexi glass, and i saw someone use floral foam so i picked up some of that also. As far as the 120mm fans thats what im going for, 1 or 2 in the front, 1 in the back and side, maybe another on the top.
I really want to put the psu at the bottom but i dunno is there is enough space for the mobo then, we will have to see when i get some measurements done. Just finished tearing everything out of it and heres what im left with: ![]() ![]() ![]()

I always hated old PC's man, anything before the P4 days blows IMO vintage or not lol. Anything that takes more than a minute to boot, and load the OS including startup item just frustrates me. That is one reason that I hate working on other ppls old PC's. They are slow to begin with, and then you have to add years of user errors, viruses, and bloat/mal/spyware. My GF's mothers PC take forever, I can get through a round of BF2142 by the time the startup items are done lol. Either way man good luck and have fun.
