Little update on my radgrills, to bump this thread up a little.

Marcus000 did my M's and chances are he already lasered the grills. I'm currently emailing to find out when he's ready to ship. The case has been taking up space in the smack middle of my room every since it got re-assembled after painting, I wish the grills are coming along so that I can start putting some hardware and WC gear in there :P

RIGHT BACK FROM THE DEAD!

After over 3 months of gathering dust in it's box, Bloody Bridget has been taken out again to be completed. The grills took a while to get shipped, I only got them two weeks ago, so obviously that took some time, but it's about time I kicked myself in the ass and did something on the damned case.

Today, I cut the top panel for the radgrills.

Never, EVER do this like I did. Take doesn't hold for crap, and my two first holes were way off. I resorted to taping it down harder and pre-drilling some guides.

Then came the cutting with the cutting disks and the dremel.

I love my new dremel, specially with the flexible thingy that came with it. Just look at these cuts:

Take that, jiggsaw. Sure, it's longer, but you have much more control over your cuts.

End result after using 3 discs (and nearly cutting my jugular vein with the fragments of two of the said discs, please wear safety glasses) :

And with the grills on:

I still need to round off some corners and scrape some edges with a file, and maybe enlarge some holes too, as they aren't all dead on.

Next up, I'll be finishing off the grill installation and installing a DD fillport on the top panel. A friend's mom works in a machine shop and told me she could get her hands on some metal-specific glue, I'll probably be messing around with that to get the hex mesh stuck on the case. That's if I ever get my hex mesh from Marcus000, the package didn't include the mesh. Once the exterior mods are finished, I'll get started on the acrylic interior. So expect another update in.... 6 months
