Default [Incomplete] Nemesis Revival

Tomorrow I shall be receiving water cooling parts which just happens to be my birthday. This will begin my migration to the amazing, huge freakin THING which is called the Lian Li V2000.

I currently have
360 GTX Black Ice Radiator
2x Dtek Fuzion GPU Blocks
2x UniSink Rev2s
Dtek Fuzion CPU Block
Total = Aprox $320

Will be getting

XPSC Acrylic Pump Top
Laing DDC 3.2 18W Pump
Swiftech Micro Res
7/16" ID (5/8" OD) Masterkleer Tubing
6x 120mm Yate Loon Fans
Rheobus Extreme Fan Controller
and other nicknacks (wire extensions, liquids like PT Nuke, ect.)
Total = Aprox $400

Grand total = Aprox $720

Im getting my sig rig setup for the migration as we speak. ^_^
The Koolance WC held its fort down long enough until the tubing snapped, then out of lazyness I decided to just redo the entire WC instead of just fixing it.

EDIT:got my shipment today, this is the collection of everything I have WC related.

The Preparation

I took apart the Dtek Fuzion CPU and ripped off the slag on the o-rings. (square rings)

o-ring/square ring

slag

the dtek apart in a solution of 90% distilled and 10% vinegar

complete - I love the look of it. Sadly they JUST came out with Fuzion V2. Of course, barely a week after I got V1.

Time to prep my GTXs (what a nightmare this turned out to be)

Messy much?

I began to clean most of it up, its not very neat.

The cards are SHINY again!!! ^_^

Dtek Fuzion GPUs are ready

DONE - what a nightmare putting the Unisink and Fuzions on was. First, the screws for the Fuzion wouldn't fit in the Unisink! BOTH OF THEM!!! I had to manually drill out both of them, what kind of bull crap is that? Then, the stupid screws wouldn't go into the backplate properly on the first one (the second was easy) And, in the process of doing this, I think I ruined the black 8800GTX because I accidentally scratched the PCB right down the back center of it with a screwdriver!!!!!!! >.<

I began to remove all the stuff from my old case

The dreaded striker extreme -.- My very first mobo had to be the one mobo out of all of the ones possible - a ticking time bomb out of the box. ASUS screwed this mobo up and I doubt the Striker 2 is any better.

Thats all for........ now.

Part 2

The amazing, jinourmous, large, spacy, and very sleek looking V2000. (THATS WHAT SHE SAID)

Originally, I didnt think my 360GTX rad wouldn't fit it. But, I learned you can fit 3-4 360GTXs in the DVD drive's bay ALONE.

Hard Drive Bay cleaned out. that is where my rad is going. If you really wanted to, you could fit aprox 4-5 360GTXs stacked side by side in there.

Comparison to my old Lian Li (mid-size)

My ghetto 360GTX is ready (lack of screws, which I later found in the rad's box... -.-)

Upper shot (with mobo)

My pump next w/ XPSC top equiped next to my "Gel Stuff"

Gel Stuff, very cool indeed. Its very squishy, soft, and stretchy. Also smells slightly strange, but good in a way. But - amazingly hard to work with, especially the DDC pump I have, because its extremely squishy and when trying to put a nut on a bolt. It frustrates you so much because with 1 hand you have to hold the screw in but at the same time with the nut on with the other while holding the pump up if you're fighting gravity like me.

After alot of work - there it is. (I later flip it around because I put it in the wrong way, facing away from the rad) ^_^

360GTX in after some drilling through the floor of the case.

Mobo in with my 8800GTXs and my spanking new Dtek Fuzion CPU block.

Res in. I was extremely disapointed because it was very "micro". For some reason, even through its call the "Swiftech MICRO res" I didnt think it was micro. I expected a much bigger and wider res because of the pics shown on like Pretas Tech Shop. I for some reason ignored the specs.

And the Watercooling..... BEGINS....

Part 3

And the tubing is in place...

More shots

Entire shot

I had some liquid foaming problems

It actually looked cool at one point, but I dont think my temps would've agreed.

Much better (and wiring still being set up)

Got it a little darker

Messy wiring - needs work

And then and there - I hit a wall, my mobo lost a cap earlier when moving it out of the old case. Even though I replaced it right back onto the mobo in perfect position - it just shorts out when I start it up. Sadly, I gotta RMA this board. I decided to just upgrade everything now while Im at a stand still.

You're gonna love those D-Tek Blocks and Uni-sinks.

I can't quite tell by the picture, but if that tubing is 3/4" thick, then getting the tubing and the clamps or zipties around the block fittings will be difficult. The clearance between the Uni-sink and the block is quite tight.
