I got most of the crap done to get it ready for cutting today. Got the marks set on the top and side panel. It started pouring rain and I couldn't hear myself think in the shed so I came inside and quit for the day. Rain is still coming down. I'm also trying to figure out where I want to put that 12th fan. here's a rough sketch of where the current 11 fans will be.

Notice the push and pull on the rads. Any ideas?

Looks pretty well, just lift the case from the bottom have the bottom fans push air out instead, you don't want warm air hitting the case..

Good Idea. There will already be like 2 inches of clearance due to the casters. I can put that 12th fan blowing air into the lower chamber from the upper chamber near the front. Good idea or no?

Okay guys finally an update. I got a new Mandrel this morning and did some work on the top panel. I also got the rad grill painted. Pics will come tomorrow. I may install the grill with 2 fans as a mock up just to see how it will look. I also plan to cut the window tomorrow and maybe install the casters into the new frame. Woot?

UPDATE!

Painted the rad grill. I love the result. I rubbed on it really hard and no damage. I also put some painters tape on it to see if it would pull it off. No problems at all!

Far away shot:

Detail of the texture. (Great pic considering it's with my phone. )

Ignore the green left on the very edges. I took care of that today when I painted the other side.

I also got both fan holes cut in the top. I'll be able to do a mock grill and fan mount tomorrow to get the jist of how it will look. Unfortunately my time today was cut short since I have to go into work an hour early and need to start getting ready. I'll be able to work on it more tomorrow! Thanks for sticking with me.

It's raining and I have a party to go to later so no real work done today. Just a quick mock up of the top with the rad grill and fans. Notice the fans aren't secured. That's because I have no spare rad to screw them to at the moment.

Uber hot angled shot to show the texture of the side that will be up.

Distant pic. It looks crooked to me. Comments on it?

Freakin-A. So I decided to do the window in the new case. It's damn near a perfect circle. Well almost. I got about 80% done and my damn dremel fried. Mod is on hold until this weekend.

Decided to use AC Ryan Mirror acrylic for the window. It will help the case look sleek and simple when it's off and when I turn the lights on you can see the interior. I'll be ordering a sheet next week. I'm off tomorrow so I will be able to get more done. Hope to figure out the false floor and check the room in the floor of the case for the second PA120.2.
