I see the florist foam is catching on.

NOTE: You DONT have you used the fiberglass resin, regular bondo is -more- than structural enough. And the fiberglass is mush (read: MUCH) harder to sand.

Also, you should have the florist foam sanded and smoothed as much as possible before you put anything on it. Although I'm assuming you want it rather square up top as your making an amplifier type look.

Oh, one more thing, get some painters masking tape and some copy paper and tape off the rest of the case to prevent that fiberglass or bondo get on everything else. You'll thank me later, lol.

Mod on brother!

hi, thank you
i have to sand it the next time to the good height becouse this is indeed to much sand work. i use the fiberglass becouse here in the netherlands i haven't found bondo like stuff. so i desided to use fiberglass.
tomorrow ill try to get the top part straight and if that's done i'm going to start with another brick.

What the hell is this?

Interesting idea making it look like an amp. Guitar amp? If so, make it a Marshall

Ah, I see. Well if you do find a good place for bondo, use that. Its -much- easier to work with. Get some 40-60grit sandpaper to handle that fiberglass though, and use a sanding block (like a piece of wood with the paper on it) to sand, the hard surface will sand more effectively and give you a flat surface.

No problem. (Not sure with you being in the Netherlands) but some automotive parts stores carry multi-packs of sanding blocks. Usually a large flat one, a smaller flat one and a rounded one. If you can find something like grab it, they will help ALOT. Sanding that stuff with your fingers gets real tiring real quick.
