Default Project: Princess Lili has cosmetic surgery

Princess Lili's previous worklog

Goals for her cosmetic surgery:
1. Drill additional 4.5" exhaust to install an internal HWLabs Black Ice GTX 480 inside
2. Apply privacy film to plexiglass window for one-way mirror effect when turning on and off UV cathodes
3. Install third party chipset and mosfet coolers to reduce motherboard temperatures
4. Use only a single radiator in order to reduce overall restriction of flow
5. Change out 7/16" Y-fitting for larger D-Tek 1/2" Y-fitting
6. Make her more sexy!

Additional parts added:
HWLabs Black Ice GTX 480
1/2" Copper Y-Fitting
Durex Pleasure-Enhancing Warming Lubricant
2x Thermalright HR-05 IFX
2x Thermalright HR-09 (One of them is the slanted one)

Asus Maximus Formula #2 with Thermalright heatsinks installed (RIP Asus Maximus Formula #1... we had some good times )

HWLabs Black Ice GTX 480 with 4x Scythe S-Flex E fans (Will add 4x on the other side later and run them all at 7v)

1/2" ID Copper Y-Fitting custom welded by Martin

Bottle of Durex Pleasure-Enhancing Warming Lubricant to slip the tubing on barbs. That is its only use... I promise!

HWLabs GTX480 mounted internally... just barely

Loop setup and going into leak test phase!

@ the lubricant... a little bit of spit goes a long way (I mean for the hoses)

That Y fitting looks amazing. Like it was never even welded. Martin is the man!

Looking forward to more updates.

WTH!!!!!
why would you even consider buying that in comparison to alternatives, like grease?

The thing is, human spit contains lots of minerals, bacterias, and god knows what else. At least with water soluble lubricant, I know it will dissolve eventually and that the ingredients are controlled.

Ya... the y-fitting is amazing. Martin does some amazing work. Too bad he stopped fabricating fittings to focus on testing.

Is grease even water soluble? Lubricant is cheap and as far as I know causes no chemical reactions or adverse effects on temperatures. Hey man... this is OCN... we are encouraged to think outside the box and be creative
