Default [Project] BLITZ [CM690] (Updated 7/25)

Unfortunately, I have no work log pictures (of the painting etc..), but this is still a work in progress

To do list:
  • Red LED fan for Tuniq Tower [complete]
  • Custom window side panel [complete]
  • Velociraptor [complete]
  • Cable Management [complete]
  • Another 8800GT for SLI

The Side Panel Window (Updated 5/26)

Tools:

Workbench:

Assistant:

Part 1: Taping & Drawing

Painters tape + outline drawn with right angled ruler

Compass, right-angled ruler, and pencil get the job done

Close-up

Part 2: Cutting

Test run with 2" holesaw = fail

Decided to scrap the holesaw idea, went with jigsaw all the way around. Result:

Screwdriver got me

Post-file/sand

Sneak peak:

Part 3: Attaching the window Update! 5/26

Tools: Double sided masking tape (thin), utility knife, piece o' cardboard.

Applying the tape

Close-up

Acrylic down

Flipped

And there it is
