Looking good!
Just an idea, check out what I did with the tuniq. And yeah, i scratched my side panel up too.

As for the inside of the case, you can view my worklog Here. I'd ask around about paints. I'm having problems with the paint I used flaking very easily on the inside of the case, so do not do what I did. You may have to use some automotive paint and a primer to get the job done right.
