it seems 2x7200.10 run faster than a single VelociRaptor
The VelociRaptor is faster than any Raptors in RAID0. (check Newegg reviews)

And for you all who are contemplating it... If you need the space + speed, then get it. If you think it's a little pricey, wait a few months and the price will drop. (Newegg actually has an open box deal now for $199.99)

But I am pleased with mine. I think Windows Vista installed in about 15-20 minutes tops! All my games start up almost instantaneously (UT3, CoH), and map loads are but a few seconds. Photoshop also starts up incredibly fast

For me the drive is the perfect size for all my games and apps, while i have another WD 250GB Caviar SE16 for storage (music, pics, downloads etc..)

Oh and I can't hear it at all... although i do have some loud ass fans

Er... evil Newegg:
"Item# N82E16822136260R is removed from shopping cart due to quantity limitation/insufficient stock. Some combo items might be affected by this. "

I really like the strips you put on the case. Can you talk me through what you did? Did you apply a basecost first and did you take the grill of when painting?
