[Project] Double Overtime
This project was sparked by my re-joining my F@H team. Reason being was the ambient temperature in my house is never under 79*F anymore. That is TOO HOT! As a result of these crazy temps, I fried all my RAM. I named the project Double Overtime because I only have a day or two to get my computer torn down, modded, and back together working again before my RAM gets in to start FOLDING!
So now I am reworking my case for 100% maximum cooling performance. Things I plan on doing:
Here we have some crack pictures, because everyone loves picture!!!!!  Dumping the guts out  OMG MEDUSA!!  Some problems....   Fixed one of them....  ---------------------- Update for later that day Progress...   I used the grill that I cut out as a mesh to bolt the two fans together - Recycling is great!   Yeah, Im working on cleaning it up  (Snake) Its showtime     -------------- Update on Day 2: Harddrive Cage:     Me trying to make my room acceptable to the parents lol...aint workin!  Time for a break... im tired!  ------------------------- Updates moar! Success at paint! Painting the case that is... Primer!   Sexy!  The Army:  Last set of pictures will be of the final product - my case being completely assembled and looking hawt.

man I had a long day.... Let me tell you - Scroll saws (aka Jigsaw) are freaking evil on your hands! I have never had such a finicky tool before..... the strands of metal that I was trimming kept going up into the actuating arm and blowing the machine towards my body and really hurting my wrists too
Ive done lots of cutting (I have these incredible scissors that cut aluminum), Sawing, sanding via rotational grinder on a drill....lolcheap..... Man I wish I could shell out the $$ for a dremel... I cant justify $40 for a power tool that I might not use too often. Im also concerned about how I will open up my hard drive bay area for more air... Im afraid of hurting the integrity of the support beams... but I realllly want to do something to keep my drives at or near ambient. I need a new case lol... Its these FIVE (5) hard drives that are driving me nuts.... Im in the process of mounting my dual fan setup on the top end of my case - I forgot my camera in the car that is in the garage which is behind a door with a locked security system which has a beeping pad that beeps when I open the door. The pad is in my parent's room.... Pics tomorrow morning, I promise
