Smile Easy to do Rocketfish Mod

Many of you like me bought the cheap rocketfish from Bestbuy with intension of modding it.

First of all, this is my first time doing case mod. After watching some Youtube videos, I have decided to give it a shot. For 50 bucks, I can afford to mess it up.

I have plans to put two 120mm fans on the top of the case along with a window on the door. I am also going to remove the front door and put a separater in the case. I will have 4 casters on the bottom along with flipped hard drive rack.

1st mod:

two 120mm fan on the top.
I use a 4 1/2 inch hole saw attachment, some blue tape, a drill, some wd40 and a ruler.
Here are the results.

Sorry about the size of the first couple pictures, forgot to change camera settings.

No need to file anything down. No need to add C channel. The cut is very clean (this is where the WD40 comes in handy).
The cut was very easy. It took longer to measure and tape the top then it did to cut it (about 20 seconds each).

The hole saw was much easier to use than a Dremel.
(4 1/2inch saw by the way)

I think it went pretty well for my first time modding a case.

MORE TO COME.
