thanks man - thats cool. Just like I was inspired by the other builds here and elsewhere - go for it!

LI Customs emailed me back and said they can paint the parts for me He said I should make an appointment to go out there and discuss the project. I wrote back asking him if I could send some pics and some details in email, to get just a rough ballpark estimate without having to drive all the way out there. It would suck to drive all the way out there to find out the painting prices start way out of my budget. I have sort of a range that I would be ok with, anything above that isnt worth it. Ill see what they say.

I still dont know. The guy hasnt gotten back to me other than the first email saying "come down to the shop to talk about the project". I dont want to drive out there to find out prices start at like 300 bucks. I posted these pics and emailed him the link but I havent heard back.

for the black (gloss?) paint, ask him if you can wait until he's doing another load of black gloss, maybe you can reduce the price.

gloss I meant as opposed to flat. I guess I should have said "clear coat" but i only want it slight, not like an exterior finish. As far as waiting, I'm sick of waiting/delaying/pausing. If I dont hear from this guy I'll call over there and see if I can get a ball park over the phone - if not then screw it, where's my respirator... oh wait I dont have one
