Yeah, its a spring loaded center punch where you press it down until the mechanism "pops" and resets. You can adjust the tension, and the bit is removeable/replaceable Ive never seen the type you mentioned but Ill look it up - sounds beefy tho

Well I dont want to give it all away just yet but the paint will be two colors, black for the chasis and door insides, and gumdrop for the exterior. Also, there will be some uv acrylic items, and some artistic stuff done to the case using some preprinted sticker items, and some clever stuff my wife thought up - who knew

I think its time to hit the auto parts store and start sanding and prepping fro primer. I have a hardware store across the street from my house and the guy was out of stock on all the important sand paper grits (400 - 2000)

I have 240 for the mouse sander, is that too rough to sand the case parts with?

The Duke

A red 3M scotch pad works great for scuffing the metal, its equivelant to 400g on soft surfaces but primes beautyfully on metal. There is also a gray scotch pad that is 600g if so desired.
