Its most likely that your fan controller simply can't handle the power output that those fans need. You need to check the max power output of the controller and see how much the fans need in comparison.

Update: After spending much time finding a 1/8" drill bit, I started drilling out the rivets. Due to the fact that it was my first time, some rivets were drilled diagonally, thus enlarging the holes in the case, shouldn't be noticeable though. De-riveted Case ![]() Drill bit I used ![]() Camera ran out of betteries, but it isn't all that exciting anyways. Now to decide if I should cut the holes before/after I paint...

Yeah.
__________________![]() It got really hard to drill the last few rivets, because I couldn't see the end of the drill bit. Got a piece of scrap metal and pushed all the rivets up 1/2 a centimeter. How do I get them off?

Hold the rivets lightly with some pliers & turn thedrill bit in the oposite direction to what the drill normally turns.

Are you planning to use radgrills? I'd just go with a square whole with a jigsaw in case you are, it simplifies stuff a lot. Templates are available for PerformancePCs.

Yeah, I am for the top, but since no one's going to see the bottom, I planned on cutting some holes there and putting like 1USD fan grills there.

Yeah, would using a 4inch drill damage my air flow by a lot? Seeing as the 4.5inch drill is almost 2x the 4 inch at Home Depot.
