Default [Full Log] Aztec Ambiance

Updates:

This will be my first time modding a case, and my first time building a computer...

Plan:

The top will be cut for 2 120mm fans, and another hole for the PSU. Side panel will stay the same, except the support bar will be cut such that only the 80mm fan stays. Bottom will also be cut for 2 120mm fans. 2 120mm fans will also be mounted on the HD cage, pushing air from the bottom to the top 2 120mm exhaust fans. Top top 3 DVD drive slots will be modded with mesh to mount a 120mm fan there. All parts will be painted black, except for the tool-less mounts.

Revised Airflow:

hmmhmm, Interesting. Will you be doing any painting or side-paneling?

*EDIT* My bad, lolz saw the side panel thing and painting it black. Umm yeash this looks good espcially since its on a case that isn't very popular. I like the Dual intake and exhaust. Ill subscribe

I currently have the Jeantech Aqua - EXACTLY the same as this case except it's the UK version lol.
Will look forward to see what you do with this.
Few suggestions:

Try taking off the fan grills on front and back - makes the air flow better. I did mine with a knife (lol due to lack of resources at uni)

Be careful with the window fans, especially the top one. I couldn't fit mine in because of my Tuniq Tower 120. However, it fit with a Scythe Ninja.

The side panel fan will not work if you have a graphics card with an aftermarket cooler if the pci slot is directly below that. I no longer use my side panel because of this.

Good luck with it

Good thought on this warnesey. I would build the computer first to see what you have to work with because some things might not work the way you want them like Warnsey stated. It would blow if you bought all those fans to where they wouldn't work in the mod.

That's a hell of a lot of intakes for a single 120mm fan to output. I'd suggest getting super quiet fans for all the intakes, and then put a 140 CFM Panaflow or something on the back with a fan controller, so you can push all that air out when you need to.

Otherwise, it looks good to me. Happy modding!

Yeah, I might make the support bar to exhaust, and add a 80mm Exhaust at the expansion slots if I don't decide to use my PCI slots.
Thanks for the feedback guys, I'm starting the mod tomorrow.

Small Update:

Due to personal reasons, I won't have much of the day tomorrow for this mod, therefore, so save time, I have removed all of the parts I could without de-riveting, and will de-rivet and also cut holes tomorrow.

Case:

All of the parts:
