Default a case mod idea.

i see so many cuttings up the top of the case, to install a radiator and fans.
if your interested i have an idea you may not have thought of.

do away with the fans in the front and the back of the case.
replace the bottom plate on the case with 1/8 inch punch plate.
for those that do not know what punch plate is.
it looks like a screen made out of a bunch of small holes but it is
sheet metal.

with the fans and holes covered in the front and back or replaced by something else
of your design.
the cool air will be sucked in from the bottom and pass straight up
through the system and out the top

You would have to lift the case a inch or two off the ground to get enough air flow.

This really is in the wrong section. It should be in the "Case Mods - General Discussion".

Instead of using the bottom of the case as intake and having to raise it up to make it feasable, why not just modder's mesh a low area on the side panel. It's not a straight shot as you say but it would be close IMO and the case could still be place on carpet and whatnot.

its a good idea, but I would still keep any and all rear exhausts, especially the top rear one
